The figure shown on this pendant wears a Minoan kilt, a tall head-dress, bracelets and earrlings. He stands in the attitute of the ‘Master of Animals’, in which a central figure flanked by animals demonstrates control over them. The elements surrounding the birds derive from stylised bull’s horns. Egyptian influence is seen in the lotus flowers among which he stands.
